Aholt in a commercial way

Hello there, my previous blog was in the first place about historical records - mostly genealogical - in the US-archives. Commercial aspects are often of a hilarious kind. So what do we find at Amazon.com? A street sign? Okay, a very cheep one.
Aholt Drive doesn't exist, but an Aholt Lane does: in Augusta, MO, where members of this family still live. Unique? No, in Bocholt Germany there is a Gerhard-Ahold-Strasse (street), called after a farmer who was member of the townboard as well, during the first half of the 20th century.
There is an official book about the Aholts in the US as well. Many statistics are included, but no real names. And commercial America presents you something more, the non-existing drink called Aholt Beer. The clock indicates that you have to hurry home.
The Aholt mug (in Holland we call that 'mok') is esthetically horrible. And who wants to drink from this?
